Therapy
in Hawai'i

What If Nothing Is “Wrong” With You?
What if the anxiety, shutdown, overthinking, or recurring relationship patterns are not flaws, but learned ways of protecting yourself?

I offer online individual and couples therapy for eligible clients located in Hawaiʻi. Therapy can support you in working through anxiety, trauma, emotional overwhelm, communication challenges, and relationship distress.

Therapy is not about fixing you or quick fixes.

It is a space to understand what shaped you, build steadier ways of responding, and create meaningful change in your life and relationships.
Therapy Can Help You Understand What Keeps Repeating
You may know that something is not working, even if you do not yet have the words for it.

Therapy can offer support with:

-
Anxiety, overthinking, and emotional overwhelm
-
Trauma and painful past experiences
-
Relationship and attachment patterns
-
Communication, resentment, and emotional disconnection
-
Grief, loss, and major life changes
-
Self-doubt, perfectionism, and people-pleasing
-
Boundaries and self-worth
-
Intimacy and relationship concerns

Together, we look beneath the immediate problem to understand what is shaping your emotions, choices, and relationships.
Individual and Couples Therapy

Individual Therapy
Individual therapy offers a private space to slow down, understand yourself more deeply, and explore how past experiences may still be shaping the present.

I specialize in anxiety, trauma and PTSD, and relationship concerns. I also work with overthinking, self-worth, grief, life transitions, imposter syndrome, people-pleasing, and the impact of childhood experiences.

Our work can help you feel more grounded, connected to yourself, and confident in the way you move through your life and relationships.

Couples Therapy
Couples therapy offers a balanced space where both partners can feel heard, understood, and respected.

Together, we identify the cycle beneath recurring conflict, communication breakdowns, resentment, mistrust, emotional distance, or intimacy concerns. The goal is not to decide who is right. It is to understand each person’s experience, strengthen communication, rebuild emotional safety, and create healthier ways of responding to one another.

I work with married, unmarried, premarital, monogamous, polyamorous, and ethically non-monogamous couples.
Why Therapy With Me
I look beyond the symptoms in front of you and pay attention to the full picture, including your history, relationships, culture, identity, and the ways you learned to protect yourself.

I help you understand why you keep getting pulled into the same reactions, conflicts, and relationship patterns, even when you already know better. From there, we work on changing what happens in the moments when insight alone has not been enough.

Coaching vs. Therapy
Coaching is not therapy or mental health treatment. Coaching is non-clinical, educational, reflective, and goal-oriented. It does not include diagnosis, treatment planning, crisis support, clinical documentation, or clinical care.

Therapy is clinical mental health care. It may include assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, clinical interventions, crisis support, and treatment for mental health symptoms or disorders.

Coaching is for growth, clarity, communication, patterns, and next steps. Therapy is for clinical mental health care. If therapy or a higher level of care appears to be a better fit, appropriate referrals may be recommended.

Coaching and therapy are offered separately. To protect the work, once we begin as coach and client, I cannot also serve as your therapist, and vice versa.
You Do Not Need to Know Exactly Where to Begin
You may know that something needs to change without knowing exactly what to call it.

A free 15-minute consultation gives us space to briefly discuss what has been happening, what you hope will feel different, and whether working together may be a good fit.
